Mission Mangal (2019) is an Indian space-drama film. Earlier announced titled 'Chanda Mama Door Ke' about to be the first Indian space film. But due to some unknown reason the project shelved. According to the latest report, R. Balki, Fox Star Studios, and Akshay Kumar opt to make a film based on traveling to space. The film might be directed by Jagan Shakti who has earlier been an associate director on films such as Pad Man (2018), Holiday (2014), and Akira (2016). Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menon, and Sharman Joshi are casts to play the lead roles in that film.
